ABOUT:

We are seeking 5 to 7 dancers with contemporary and modern dance or movement experience. Movers should be comfortable with weight sharing/partnering and improvising with others to create movement.

​

This piece was originally performed as part of Chicago Horror Theatre Fest 2015. The evolving piece/film will explore anxiety from inside the mind. Dancers will embody nervous thoughts and fears in a racing mind, and should be open to exploring these themes with compassion.

​

As the framework of the dance exists, we will rehearse and shoot in a condensed process on the week of July 24-28, utilizing one to two days to learn choreography and create gestures and lifts. We will then have two days to shoot, split between filming at a studio and filming on-location in Chicago.

Dancers will be compensated with a stipend.
